Dead and injured in Israeli bombings against Gaza and Rafah

The official Wafa news agency reported that several people lost their lives in an attack on a house located in the Al-Saftawi neighborhood, north of the city of Gaza.

Numerous deaths were also reported, including minors, in a raid on a house in the Al-Geneina neighborhood in Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians take refuge.

Wafa noted that in the last few hours rescue teams recovered the bodies of seven citizens in Khan Yunis, the second most populated town in the Strip before the war.

According to official data, more than 34,000 people died in that coastal enclave and another 77,000 were injured as a result of Israel’s military offensive, launched on October 7 in response to a Hamas attack.

Precisely, this Saturday a high-level delegation from the Islamist movement arrived in Cairo, Egypt, to continue contacts in search of a ceasefire in that territory.

In recent days, contacts have intensified, which the media considers the last opportunity to prevent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from ordering his troops to assault Rafah.
