“The National Government highlights the courage, bravery and honor of Lior, who was in charge of the security of his community and died defending his family on October 7. To this day, Hamas has kidnapped his body, preventing his family from disposing of his remains,” he noted.

Furthermore, the head of state stressed that, “unfortunately, the systematic and deliberate attack by previous governments towards our glorious Armed Forces left Argentines helpless in the face of the attacks of international terrorism.”

Rudaeff is the 38th hostage whose death has already been determined from the 132 people who are held in Gaza.

The victim was married to Yaffa, with whom he had four children (Noam, Nadav, Bar and Ben). Lior was born in Argentina and moved to Israel with her family at the age of 7, settling in the Kibbutz Nir Yitzchak. Rudaeff worked in agriculture and as a truck driver, and volunteered as a doctor and ambulance driver for his community.
