Russia insists on its threats to the West of war escalation in Ukraine as a result of supporting the forces of Kyiv by USA and its NATO allies.
On this occasion it was through the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Ryabkov, who warned the United States of “fatal consequences” of possible “miscalculations” that Ukrainian forces could make with American weapons.
Ryabkov thus responded to the decision of USA and several Western countries to authorize – with a series of red lines – kyiv to use weapons transferred to its Army to attack military objectives in the territory of the Russian Federation.
This weekend, missiles launched by HIMARS and MLRS systems hit several Russian military targets in the regions of Belgorod and Kurskin what could be the first confirmed Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory since the veto was lifted.
The objective of lifting this ban by USA and part of its allies would be to end the military “sanctuary” installed by Russia on the border with Ukraine.
In that sanctuary, Russian forces accumulated troops, weapons and vehicles used in attacks against Ukrainian civilian targets and in the invasion of the north of the Kharkov region.

He Deputy Minister Ryabkovlike President Putin himself a few days ago, resorted to threats to respond to the lifting of said restriction.
«I would like to warn American leaders of the fatal consequences that could have possible calculation errors. For reasons unknown to me, they underestimate the seriousness of the response they could get,” Ryabkov said.
In this sense, he urged the leaders of USA “to spend some of their time, which they apparently spend on some kind of video game, judging by the lightness of their approach, to study in detail what Putin said.”
