After a new Ukrainian attack on the Morosovsk Air Base, the Russian Aerospace Forces received a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers

The Novosibirsk VP Chkalov aircraft production plant completed the delivery of the second batch of the year of Sukhoi Su-34 fighter-bombers destined to equip the Russian Aerospace Forces. The news, released by the UAC and Roctec, comes days after a Ukrainian attack was recorded in Russian territory that targeted the Morosovsk Air Base, one of the main seats of the full back.

As usually happens with this type of announcements by Rostec, the quantities that make up this new batch of combat aircraft were not reported. However, thanks to the videos officially released by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), it can be seen that this batch would consist of two new units, adding to the copies provided during the month of April.

Rostec aviation companies continue regular deliveries of military aircraft according to the current year’s production schedule. A new batch of Su-34 has been delivered to the Russian Aerospace Forces. These bombers are currently in high demand in the Special Military Operation area. The aircraft’s capabilities allow pilots to effectively carry out missions in any theater of military operations, using unguided and guided aerial means of destruction.“said Vladimir Artyakov, first deputy general director of the Rostec State Corporation.

Regarding the aforementioned attack by Ukrainian drones, it took place last week targeting the Morosovsk Air Base located in the Rostov region and located 240 kilometers from the front line. Thus, they were able to account for various satellite images collected by specialized means; The attack gained relevance as this airfield was one of the main seats for the Su-34. full back.

Various Russian Telegram channels reported on the aforementioned attack on June 13, but reported that no damage was reported to the attack aircraft. This fact has also been confirmed by satellite images captured in recent days, where the destruction or damage caused to the Su-34 is not appreciated.

This is not the first opportunity where Ukrainian drones, launched from Ukrainian territory, have targeted the Morosovsk Air Base during the month of April. The reason for carrying out these attacks is that this base is, as mentioned, the base of operations for some of the Su-34s that carry out attack missions against Ukrainian targets.
