Havana, June 24 (ACN) Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, recognized today, on the social network X, the firmness and dedication of the Cuban diplomats.
On the occasion of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, the party leader sent a hug to the women and highlighted the results of the work of these professionals who worthily represent Cuba on international stages.
In the same social network, the Foreign Ministry congratulated the women who, with their leadership and courage, strengthen revolutionary diplomacy.
His leading role in the Cuban revolutionary process is an example of commitment and dedication, the message added.
The date was proclaimed by the United Nations in 2022 with the purpose of recognizing the contribution of women in the foreign policy of the countries they represent.
This celebration calls on States, various organizations and civil society to promote the full participation of women at all levels of diplomacy and aims to make visible the unequal representation of women in high diplomatic positions, as well as the challenges they face in the exercise of their positions.
