This Saturday comes to the Book Fair ““The Night of the City”, the traditional meeting of Buenos Aires residents with culture sponsored by the City Government. Starts at 8pm with free entryand that is why the closing hours of the Fair are extended until midnight.
“The Fair is emblematic for the City and we feel it is very much ours. As ours as we feel the books. This event is the heritage of the City,” said the Head of Government, Jorge Macri. The Fair continues until May 13. It is open to the public Monday to Fridayof 14 to 22. The Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesday, May 1the schedule is 13 to 22.

For this unique day, these are the activities:
▪️ To highlight Lisbon as the guest city of honor in this edition, this Saturday at twenty-one in the José Hernández Room will be presented Lisbon Poetry Orchestra (LPO), a multidisciplinary collective made up of musicians who invite other artists to celebrate and perform poetry in a truly unique journey of discovery and reinvention of the spoken word. António José Fortes, António Maria Lisboa, Alexandre O’Neill, Mário Cesariny, Fernando Lemos, Henrique Risques Pereira, Carlos Eurico da Costa, Pedro Oom, José Augusto França, Vespeira, António Pedro and Mário Henrique Leiria are some of the poets who inspired the LPO to develop a contemporary aesthetic and musical imaginary.
▪️ At fifteen in it stand of the City of Buenos Aires, located in the Yellow Pavilion (stand 1400), will take place “Youth. 10 days to not die”a conversation with Luz Larennthe author of 10 days to not dieabout guilt, crimes, desires and how not to die trying.

▪️ From 19.30 and for the preview of ““The Night of the City” the band will play at the stand “Cool Beat Quartet.”
▪️ At 22 The interview with the Uruguayan musician and writer will begin Dani Umpiin charge of Danila Saieghwhich will end with a musical set.
