The Onda Cero Audiovisual Production studio hosted the presentation of the book Junga, migrant dreams by Rosana Moreno published by Editorial Autores de Argentina.

The author is a native of General Pico and this is her first foray into the literary world, since in the last decade she has dedicated herself to the production of her works as a visual artist.

The event was attended by the vice consul of Spain in Santa Rosa, Abel Alberto Álvarez, the secretary of the Spanish Association, María Julia Regalado, friends, family and the general public.

The work is a moving family saga that tells the journey of a family of Spanish emigrants who decide to return to their homeland. Across generations, the story explores the search for identity, family ties, and the challenges of emigration. In a world marked by nostalgia and hope, the Prietos face the challenge of adapting, preserving their roots and forging a new destiny.

Sonia Obieta, as host, made the presentation and spoke with Rosana Moreno about the inspiration of the story and the decision to capture it in a book. The talk had moments of emotion and tears as it touched intimate fibers of her memories and those nights accompanying her grandmother Isidora, on whom the publication is inspired.

The night featured a performance by Lela Errecalte performing ‘Honor La Vida’ and ‘La Bicicleta Blanca’ and, in a duet with Sonia Obieta, the tangos ‘Para Eladia’, ‘Desencuentro’ and ‘Que tango hay que canto’. Then there was a toast in which attendees interacted with the author, who made dedications and thanks.
