Xavier Pérez comes to this position after a long and extensive professional career in the pet care business. With more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing At Nestlé Purina Petcare, he has held various roles both locally and internationally over the years.

After a first initial stage at Nestlé Purina Spain, Xavier Pérez continued his career with international experience as Marketing Manager for the Friskies brand in the Nestlé Purina central team located in the Swiss city of Lausanne. In 2014, Xavier returned to Spain to serve as Marketing Director of Nestlé Purina Spain, where he led the brand portfolio strategy for the Spanish market.

Years later, in 2020, Xavier was appointed General Manager of Marketing for the Northern Europe region of Nestlé Purina Petcare, being responsible for the strategy in this area in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries.

All of this has led him to his current position as Director of Communications and Digital at Nestlé Purina Petcare Europe and responsible for hub digital Purina Studios, a position he has held since the beginning of the year.

Canarian by birth, Xavier Pérez moved to Barcelona as a young man where he studied Business Administration and completed an MBA at ESADE. Married, father of two children and lover of pets, he loves to enjoy good times with his family, of which his dog Rumba is also a part.

Among his hobbies is hiking, which he tries to do on weekends, as well as enjoying his children’s soccer games in local sports competitions.
