-Nutritional or brewer’s yeast
What is the step by step
The first thing you are going to do is gather all the ingredients and pay close attention to these instructions so that you can prepare it without problems. The objective is to cook a mozzarella vegan, but you should keep in mind that you can keep it in the refrigerator for up to five days, since it is homemade and does not contain preservatives.
In a blender or mixer, you are going to place the sunflower seeds and water. Once you have blended this mixture well and a kind of vegetable milk has formed, you must separate it. When you have it ready, you must strain it to keep only the liquid. The remains that remain will serve as a spreadable cheese.
To that liquid milk, you are going to mix it again in the blender, but this time you will add the cornstarch, starch, salt, lemon juice and yeast. You are going to blend everything very well and then you will pour this preparation over a small saucepan so that it cooks well until it acquires a texture similar to that of a mousse, as shown in the image.
