In an increasingly competitive and complex real estate market, having efficient management systems has become crucial for the success of projects. Developers face challenges ranging from fluctuating prices to properly managing suppliers and customers in a changing economic scenario.

Aiming “from within” at this problem, three partners created Slab 0a software that emerges as a comprehensive solution, to simplify and optimize every aspect of the real estate development process.

“Losa 0 is an ecosystem intended for the world of real estate development that allows for comprehensive management of each of the areas and aspects necessary for effective and global management of the entire business. “It resolves all areas in a unified manner,” he explained. The company explained that there was no software platform in the market that accompanied real estate development processes in the way needed. “Most platforms are generic management systems; canned goods that tried to adapt to areas such as construction, but that do not meet the necessary functionalities,” they indicated.

Podrojsky He assured that the objective of Losa 0 is to resolve “pains” (pains) of the developers, in an already delicate economic situation. “The business is developed within a bimonetary economy, with adjustment and inflation rates of all kinds. It is an industry in which every detail must be taken care of. Dealing with suppliers, expenses, relations with investors and many other points make the industry very complex, with many variables and issues that impact,” he stressed.

Losa 0 aims to provide solutions in each of these aspects. To this end, the management program is divided into nine modules, each with its own particularities. One of the main ones is the one that has to do with the Customer management. “All the administrative tools are provided for managing clients, whether they are those to whom units are awarded and those who invest in wells,” he commented.

Another module is Suppliers, which allows you to manage the costs that arise from dealing with the different parts of the business. “The works are made up of items and sub-items, labor and materials. In general, each item or sub-item is assigned to one or a few suppliers that you choose. With our system there is the possibility of generating tenders to receive quotes and based on that make the best decision,” Podorojsky stressed.

The module Integrations crosses information in real time for decision making. “We synchronize information with different external components, such as the price of different dollars. We also have indices and quotes, such as that of the Argentine Chamber of Construction (materials, general, labor), the Uocra index or that of Indec itself. Indices are used in all facets of the business,” said the businessman.

The management system is completed by the modules Treasury, Accounting, Configurations, Stock, Analysis and Investors.

“The Analysis section is very important, with metrics and reports. In this module we offer personalized reports well aligned with each aspect that must be considered within the sector, such as what the stock is, the budget estimate and the return, among many other aspects,” he continued.

The Losa 0 project was born when Podrojsky asked one of his partners (a computer developer) to create a management system for the industry, because those that existed at that time were not efficient and adaptable enough to the real estate development business. .

The request was personal, but it soon became an opportunity. “We saw that the product was very powerful. We did a survey and the same thing happened to everyone. Or they used Excel spreadsheets or systems that are not enough to solve everything. There we saw that we had to make Losa 0 a product in itself,” he explained.

The first stage of development took 18 months and the disbursement of about $50,000. “The business model is monthly rental for the use of the platform. It is used by developers, but also by some construction companies and architecture firms. “We work with about 50 players in the industry,” the businessman continued.
