Fixed term: the decision of the Central Bank
As it has been doing since December, the central bank decided to reduce the monetary policy rate from 60% to 50%. This caused the banks they will lower the interest rate of each fixed term at percentages that are around 40% on average.
However, in the coming weeks it is expected that the central bank make the same decision again and this affects the fixed term. As they explained, the reason for this is because inflation would continue to fall.
