The inhabitants of the Ciudad del Sol residential complex, located at 85th street number 41D -31, Campo Alegre neighborhood of Barranquilla, On Wednesday afternoon, they blocked the sector of 84B Street, better known as ‘The Slides’after contractors from the Air-e company suspended the service to the entire complex in the morning.
According to the administrator of the complex, the officials suspended the service without warning due to a debt that exists in the common area, but which is being claimed for consumption that, according to the administrator, is unjustified.

As it was known, for 3 months the receipts from the common area have been arriving with high costs and for this reason they raised a right of petition to resolve this situation and from March to date the debt is in the order of 37 million pesos .
The users of the complex, 120 units in total, assured that they are up to date with their apartment bills and consider it unfair that, in the event of a claim for bills for the common area, service is suspended for the entire complex when in that case only the power to the common area should be suspended.
For its part, the Air-e company alleged that “Technicians were prevented from accessing the company’s work, which is grounds for suspension.””.
The residents of the complex unblocked the road as a result of the rain, but at this time they continue without power service.
