The new chapters of ‘The Bridgertons’, the period series that has half the planet hooked, is days away from premiering on Netflix. And, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, the actors who give life to Penelope and Colin in fiction are already immersed in the tour to promote the second part of the third season.
Yesterday, along with the rest of the cast of the series, all the actors met at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London for a special screening of the launch of the next season. And Nicola Coughlan became the protagonist in the afternoon with a style that may be a nod to everything that is coming in the following chapters.
Nicola paid tribute to her Bridgerton character, who is engaged to Colin Bridgerton, Luke Newton, wearing a light pink dress signed by ‘Rodarte’ and which she combined with purple velvet gloves where he placed a brooch, which we have already seen on other occasions, it is a ceasefire pin with which many artists ask for peace and the immediate reduction of tensions in Gaza and Israel. Lastly, Nicola wore a flower crown that incorporated a floor-length veil.
Coughlan’s stylist, Aimée Croysdill, shared details of the dress on her Instagram account and showed us the different types of sequins, beads and pearls that Penelope’s dress is made of in fiction.

The choice of this style is, without a doubt, a declaration of intentions. It is a ‘look’ that provides drama, and that is what Part 2 of the third season of ‘The Bridgertons’ will also bring.
