If there is an undisputed king of imitations it is and always will be Carlos Latre (45 years). It doesn’t matter how many contestants go through ‘Your face sounds familiar to me’, and how well they do it, none will be as remembered as the comedian dressed as the late Marujita Díaz or imitating David Bustamante. More than twenty years ago ‘Crónicas Marcianas’ brought him fame and he, always discreet and humble, has managed to maintain himself, signing for different programs and of course taking his show to the top, something that not everyone achieves.
And everything indicates that now he has a new challenge, a few weeks ago his signing for Mediaset to be in charge of competing on the one hand with Pablo Motos, in a strip in which he has been established for twenty years and that works like a charm, and on the other with David Broncano, who has arrived at Spanish Television with the same mission, with that of taking home part of the audience that now bets on the famous ants. Not much is known about the format that is being prepared, but it is clear that a great deal of confidence has been placed in it.
In a man about whom, once out of focus, we know very little. He is not very given to talking about his private life, which is kept quite apart from the public, but he does not hide it either. Off camera, Carlos He is a very simple man, easy-going and even somewhat shy. She was older than me, more mature than me and she taught me many things. I entered Cuatro with a series in which I invested all my money and it was a fiasco. I had a very bad time financially. Furthermore, it was a difficult time because we had just become parents,” he said in this interview.
But not everything was lost, since two years later it was inevitable that they would meet again, and they resumed their relationship where they had left off, but having resolved some of their internal conflicts, which they both considered important and vital to be able to move forward together and well. Candela is the center of your universe and as it could not be otherwise, he has art in his genes, about to turn 18, he seems to have a clear idea of his vocation, or at least that is what his father says, who has confessed that he is very artistic, that he has talent and that she would like to be an actress in musicals. Without a doubt, with a producer mother and a father who is worth almost everything, there will be no shortage of opportunities and boards. In fact, she has already gone on stage with her father, and at the moment she is training, she has just started her degree in Audiovisual Communication.
So that those complicated years are left behind also in the economic field, because for some time now things have been going better than well, in addition to having been in ‘Tu cara me familiar’ for more than ten years, an idyll that seems about to break up, he has his show, he doesn’t care there is a lack of work, which means an economic improvement for the family itself, and which closes the circle so that this new opportunity as a couple has also been a life opportunity and they are now, after the setback, enjoying a sweet moment.
