The Santiago Regional Council reports the beginning of the election process for the Board of Directors of the Association of Medical Chapters, which will take place on Wednesday, June 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
They will have the right to vote only for one candidate, the Chapter Directors of all Medical Chapters constituted in the jurisdiction of the Santiago Regional Council.
The duration of the board will be three years, which will extend until the next ordinary elections of the Medical College of Chile. Each position will have a duration of one year; Its president, meanwhile, may only be re-elected once.
Candidates who wish to apply must:
- Be capitular of a Medical Chapter of the jurisdiction corresponding to the Santiago Regional Council.
- Each Medical Chapter may propose only one representative per chapter to join the board.
- Any of the directors of the Medical Chapter may be a candidate.
The proposal of candidates must be made through the following form:
Registration applications must be submitted by email, addressed to [email protected]with maximum term until Sunday, June 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
They will be proclaimed elected the candidates who have obtained the first five majoritieswho will immediately become part of the Board of Directors of the Association of Medical Chapters.
In the event of a tie to determine any of the positions, it will be the Board as a whole that will decide by simple majority.
For its part, The candidate who has obtained the first majority will be elected president of the Association of Medical Chapters; vice president for the second majority, secretary for the third majority, leaving the fourth and fifth majority as directors.
