Santo Domingo, June 12. _ The Carlos Piantini Hall of the Eduardo Brito National Theater was dressed to the nines with the successful presentation of Don Quixote, the Ballet, with a high-level production, which highlighted the professionalism and high technical level of the dancers of the Ballet Company and Foundation Dominican Concert.

The adventure through vibrant Spain began when the veteran actor and dancer, Miguel Lendor, in the role of Don Quixote de la Mancha, took the stage that, between books and delirious dreams, immersed the public in a journey of knights-errant, eternal love and bravery. overflowing.

The masterful choreography, by maestro Carlos Veitía, inspired by the original by Marius Petipa, with music by Leon Minkus, gave life to each scene, from the happy steps of the Spanish dances to the elegant movements of the pas de deux. The characters immersed themselves in comic entanglements, interacting with colorful gypsies and celebrating with joy in a wedding party full of vitality and rhythm.

Don Quixote, the Ballet, also included touches of humor and comedy in some scenes, however, it was still a work that required great technical and interpretation virtuosity.

It is important to highlight the excellent movement skills and techniques developed by its main dancers Eliosmayquer Orozco, from the Dominican National Ballet; Jonhal Fernández, from the Spartanburg Ballet of the United States; as well as the stellar dancers, Karla Espaillat and Diana Dopico and each of the dancers who make up a spectacular staging that shows someWell done allégros, energetic, animated.

Likewise, this great staging starred Sander Roberts, Pedro Pablo Martínez, Anayilda Jáquez, Rissy De Los Santos, Lya Gómez, Oona García, and Luis Pérez who, together with a staff of 50 dancers, dazzled with each of their performances.

The dazzling set design was in charge of Fidel López, who with great professionalism managed to capture the Spain of Don Quixote and his loyal squire Sancho Panza who ventured on a journey full of feats and unforgettable encounters.

The costumes were designed by Patricia Huerta, Sergia Arias, Mayeline Pérez, Germania Ozuna and Castia Fortuna. The props were in charge of Víctor Datt and Elsa Pellerano. The stage management by Amaury Esquea, Yvette Pérez in Management and Elí Rodríguez the graphic design, William Guinand in charge of makeup.

The production was by Sarah Esteva, general director of the company and the Ballet Concerto Dominicano foundation, accompanied by Yeri Peguero with the line production, Lisbell Piedra deputy director of the Company and Silvia Crespo deputy director of the Academy.
