The singer Luis Alfonso, known for his musical interpretation in genres such as popular, ranchera and Mexican popular, has a full agenda for this month of June. The artist has performed in cities such as Bogotá, Cali and Medellín. However, he could not keep his appointment in Pasto, Nariño. On June 14, the singer had a concert scheduled with El Andariego at the Champagnat Coliseum.
The two musicians could not make it to their presentation due to the weather situation in that city, which did not allow several flights to land at the Antonio Nariño Airport in Chachagüi. “Since 6:00 pm we are fighting, moving heaven and earth, we paid $50 million for charters, we paid $11 million for airports, we did the impossible. The people of Pasto were with their shirts on,” the musician explained on his social networks.
The excesses at the concert
“This did not depend on anyone, it depended on the weather, which is something extraordinary that is out of our hands. The truth is that it is not the businessman’s fault, nor the Mayor’s Office, nor the Government, nor anyone else,” he added. While the two singers were trying to get to their date with the fans of Pasto, the stage of that city suffered outrages at the expense of the public.
“Luis Alfonso and El Andariego did not arrive, that was known. They made us happy by saying that they came on a charter flight and waited until the end to say that they were no longer arriving and that we could claim the money with the ticket,” commented one of the attendees to the El Barco web portal. In the coliseum, several people threw bottles at the public in the center of the place, which they covered with the help of their chairs.
So far the musicians have not rescheduled the concert in Pasto, which would initially also have the presence of Hernán Gómez, but he was hospitalized last March. Luis Alfonso will continue with the presentations he had scheduled in places such as Lago Agrio (Ecuador), Bucaramanga and Jamundí.
