For some couples, separation is synonymous with sadness, anger, rage and treating the ex as the unmentionable, but for actors Claudio Arredondo and Ana Luz Figueroa that would not be part of their script after their marriage breakup. This is because they did not make any drama out of it and continued working together, like the best romantic comedy.

This is what the father of the Minister of Culture, Carolina Arredondo, told it, giving an account of the good experience they had with his ex-wife.

“It was happening, we separated during the pandemic (…) there was no way to leave, so we continued living together for a while”, he revealed on the Sabores de Zona Latina program.

“It entertains me, I find it very challenging to fish the text, imagine it and bring it to reality on stage“, he said regarding the work that Begoña Basauri, Elvis Fuentes and Diego Boggioni are doing together, “Only fools fall in love.”

As he explained, one of the points that worked in his favor, to carry out the party in peace, is that “affection exists for a logical reason, since there is a child involved and there are things that will unite you until the end.”

She also clarified that this is not the first time they have worked together, after ending their marriage during the pandemic. A time when many couples separated after being forced to live together locked up 24/7.

“We did Bad Mothers, which was the previous montage, there we were already separated. We started writing the play as a couple and ended up editing it while separated.”, stated Page 7.
