The Magdalena Swimming League is pleased to announce the holding of the II La Perla de América Tournamentan event endorsed by the Colombian Swimming Federation (FECNA) and qualifying for the National Interleague and Colnat Children’s Plan.

The event will be organized by the Technical Committee of the Magdalena Swimming League and will take place in the 50 meter pool with 10 lanes and a depth of 2.00 meters of the “VIDA” Aquatic Complex. All tests will be mixed and final by time, however the awards will be carried out by gender and category, this in order to give greater agility to the tournament.

Swimmers who wish to participate in the tournament must be registered in a club affiliated with FECNA and have the endorsement of their respective entity, the deadline to register is April 30, 2024.

The II La Perla de América Tournament is a great opportunity for children’s swimmers from all over the country to demonstrate their talent and compete for a place in the National Interleague and Colnat Children’s Plan.

In the words of coach Alonso Villareal of the Poseidón club, it is expected that these sporting events will bring more than 500 athletes from different cities in Colombia, with interesting participants such as Shark Olivella, who is the first in the national ranking; In addition, this tournament will be important after the cancellation of sporting events and dispute between the National Swimming Federation and the Atlantic League where Magdalena did not participate in the ‘Golden Gate of Colombia’.
