YS Jagan Mohan Reddy set out on his election campaign. He is doing a Bus Yatra which is in Rayalaseema right now.
He addressed a Public meeting in Proddaturu and spoke about Vivekananda Reddy’s Murder right on the first day of his campaign.
He blamed Chandrababu and his men for the murder and lamented that his own sisters were being used against him.
There may be a few people who may have trusted this version in 2019. But people are not so naive to trust this issue after seeing what happened between 2019 and 2023.
Furthermore, Jagan made this statement while A8 in Viveka’s murder case, Avinash Reddy was standing beside him.
It is clear that whatever Jagan speaks about Viveka’s murder, it is going to be a weak argument.
There is no logic that explains why Jagan did not want a CBI investigation in the case after the elections and why Sharmila and Sunitha turned against him if he is innocent.
It makes no sense for Sharmila and Sunitha to desert their brother who is in power and take Chandrababu’s side who got a paltry 23 seats in the 2019 elections.
Whatever the reason may be Jagan had decided to shield those involved in Viveka’s murder, it is better he stays silent and hopes the people do not care about the murder despite the best efforts of the Opposition and his sisters.
Talking about the murder case and trying to fool the people is nothing but a blunder.
Here is something very interesting here. Jagan claimed innocence keeping Avinash Reddy beside him in Proddaturu, less than 24 hours after that the same Avinash Reddy and his father, Bhaskar Reddy attended the CBI court, Nampally as the accused in the case.
