Inhabitants of Cauca have revealed the deep disappointment and deterioration of the social and economic situation in Suárez, Cauca, place of origin of Vice President Francia Márquez. More than a year and a half since Márquez took office, the residents of Suárez continue to deal with severe adversity, feeling abandoned and neglected by her own compatriot.
As revealed by Semana who traveled to the area, the vice president, who had generated great expectations among young people and the population in general for the change promised together with President Gustavo Petro, seems to have not fulfilled the aspirations of her people.
