The poisoned tail of the conflict that the Milei government has with Claudio Belocopitt reached Córdoba. The owner of Swiss Medical is a partner in that province of Claudio Losada in the MET prepaid company and has been one of the ideologues of wildly increasing the fees, “just in case Milei falls,” a hypothesis supported by Peronism.
Losada is one of the owners of the Sanatorio Allende, one of the largest in Córdoba and in addition to MET it also has the prepaid Sipssa. At MET he was a partner in Medicus, a prepaid company acquired by Belocopitt, according to the government with the millions of dollars it collected from the State during the pandemic, as LPO exclusively revealed.
A health businessman familiar with the matter told LPO that in meetings of prepaid executives, Losada used to argue that he had to “hurry up” and concentrate the increase in fees because Milei’s government could fall in months. Beyond his political analysis, what I can conclude is that his colleagues took the suggestion to heart and applied increases that double inflation.
