This Thursday the 25th, the Mutual Carlos Múgica Textile Innovation Center turns 8 years old and celebrates it at its headquarters on Julio A. Roca Street. All areas of the mutual society and other fellow textile workshops will participate in the celebration. “The celebration is not only a time to commemorate our past achievements, but also to renew our commitment to the textile sector, the popular economy and continue building a fairer future for all,” they stated from Overola.

At LHVB we spoke with Eli Barrionuevo and Pilar Gudiño, members of Overola, who expressed the happiness they felt at being able to celebrate another year in this space that “is not only a textile workshop but is also a space of containment where the colleagues also find of work and training, a lot of human quality, where many things are shared,” Eli highlighted.

For her part, Pilar Gudiño expressed that turning 8 years old “means a lot of pride and happiness, seeing a productive space grow, which grows as a space and generates more and more work. That is the main objective, if we can sustain that wheel of continuing to generate more and more work, I feel that we are on the path.
