In the midst of a control operation carried out in the early hours of this Wednesday on the Bogotá-Villavicencio highway, specifically at the entrance to the Pipiral toll, the Meta Transit and Transportation Police found three minors traveling in a van in the company of man.

According to Colonel Norman Gómez, commander of the Meta Police, These minors would have been recruited in the department of Cauca and they were bound for the department of Guaviare.

“At the time of the search, the minors stated that they were coming from Cauca and that they were going to the department of Guaviare. Therefore, “We are sure that this is a case of recruitment of minors,” indicated the commander of the Meta Police.

For now, The three minors are in good health. and while the pertinent investigations are carried out, they were left at the disposal of the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF) for the restoration of their rights, the authorities confirmed.
