With the support of the National Cultural Concertation Program of the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Knowledge, the Ibagué International Puppet Theater Festival, Festíteres 2024, will take place this year in Ibagué, between August 22 and 31.

With the slogan “The puppets seek the boys and girls of Tolima”, the festival seeks to project and promote national and international puppet groups, recognize the artistic work of the puppeteers, confront and reflect on the artistic work of the puppets in Colombia and the world and promote the circulation of puppet groups.

In its fourteenth version, Festíteres opens its international call for all those foreign groups that want to be part of an important festival in the center of the country. Therefore, between May 1 and 20, they will receive proposals from the various groups that want to participate.

*Requirements to participate*

Submit proposal that contains:

1. Synopsis of the work, trajectory and review of the group in Word.

2. Submit 6 color photos in good resolution: 5 photos of the play and 1 of the entire cast.

3. Link to the Video of the complete work, posted on YouTube, unedited.

4. Groups of maximum 3 participants.

5. The deadline for delivery of the requested documentation is until May 2O and must be sent to the email: [email protected]

Furthermore, the festival clarifies that air tickets are not provided to international groups.
