The member of the Political Bureau and president of the National Assembly, Esteban Lazo Hernández, led this Wednesday the parade of the workers of Santiago de Cuba through the Plaza de la Revolución Antonio Maceo, in the celebration of May Day
Santiago de Cuba. – The member of the Political Bureau and president of the National Assembly, Esteban Lazo Hernández, led this Wednesday the parade of the workers of Santiago de Cuba through the Plaza de la Revolución Antonio Maceoin the celebration of May Day.
They accompanied the leader of parliament, the authorities of the Party and the Government in the province, Isdalis Rodríguez, second secretary of the national CTC, the Minister of Health, José Ángel Portal, as well as prominent leaders and workers.
The Santiago march was initiated by health workers who work with great effort to improve services, reduce mortality and other parameters of people’s lives.
Before the parade through the square, Orlando Beltrán, secretary of the provincial CTC, delivered the central words outlining the main challenges of the labor movement in the indomitable province.
