The Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Capital of San Juan, through its Urban Tree Directorate, has launched a call aimed at all those interested in learning about the care of urban green spaces. The theoretical-practical course on Urban Tree Work will take place next Wednesday, May 8, at 1:30 p.m., on the prestigious stage of the Municipal Cinema Theater.
The educational day will begin with a theoretical presentation by the director of Arbolado Urbano, the engineer, Cecilia Peñalva, accompanied by her technical team made up of engineers Claudia Cantoni and Natalia Fernández. This segment will provide essential foundations on the importance of urban trees and the appropriate techniques for their maintenance and care.

Next, a practical pruning demonstration will be held in the surroundings of the Municipal Cinema Theater. This activity will be carried out by the work team of the Environmental Directorate of the Municipality of the City of San Juan, led by the engineer, Lisandro Cevinelli and the engineer Lucio Gómez. Participants will have the opportunity to observe and actively participate in this practice, acquiring skills and abilities directly applicable to the care of urban trees.
