Sneyder Pinilla –the former deputy director of the National Disaster Risk Management Unit marred by corruption– sent a letter to the Attorney General’s Office in which he mentions his willingness to expand his statements against the presidents of Congress.
The letter was filed by Luis Gustavo Moreno, Pinilla’s defender, before the office of the attorney Margarita Cabello. Yes indeed, He has a claim in return.

“It is the wish of my client to appear and give a statement within the processes carried out by this entity, as long as the principle of opportunity that has been requested before the tax delegate is approvedotherwise he will not renounce his right to remain silent,” Moreno said in the letter sent to the attorney general.

This letter coincides with the opening of investigations ordered by the Attorney General’s Office to clarify the bribes – which Pinilla said – were delivered to the president of the Senate, Iván Name, and the president of the Chamber, Andrés Calle.
