Flights to Nicaragua from Cuba in May

It is no secret to anyone the demand for flights to Nicaragua from Cuba, and the month of May will be no exception. There are three essential purposes at this time, the first and most used, entering without a visa to continue a migratory route to the south of the North American border and enter through CBP One.

The second is the so-called “shopping tourism” in Nicaragua, also without a visa, the mules take advantage of this route to then resell products on the island. And there is also, currently, the request at the United States Embassy in Managua, for five-year visas for Cubans.

Officially, Conviasa flies to Nicaragua from Havana in May, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from Caracas and to Managua, with the usual stopover in the Cuban capital. Starting tomorrow, add flights on Tuesdays and Sundays.

If you want to purchase tickets with Conviasa, this is their website. The prices here are more affordable than through third parties, which currently sell them for over $1,100 per person, some over $1,500.

So far, officials have not confirmed Aruba Airlines flights, which were maintained until last month, on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, to Managua. The Holguín Airport also did not confirm the flights from Aruba, which were taking place between Aruba and that eastern city. A flight that then continued on its way to the Nicaraguan capital.
