In order to propose viable actions in terms of public policies for the benefit of women, the members of the cabinet of the Mayor’s Office of Riohacha attended the workshop led by the EdoGroup Corporation, within the framework of the ‘Budgets for Equality’ alliance, held with this entity.
The purpose of this alliance, which was developed through the Canadian embassy, is to seek the development of projects that promote the closing of the gender gap, through the allocation of budgets, which, directly and indirectly, strengthen the role of women in the District.
On this day, the life cycle and design of public policies were also announced, focused especially on women and gender issues. In addition, effective strategies were delved into to promote gender equity and inclusion in the community.
Thanks to these spaces, the district administration continues to create spaces to build a more just and equal future, where all voices are heard and valued.
