From Buenos Aires, sexologist and comedian Valeria Farfán will be presenting “Sexplota el Show: Sexualidad con Humor” again this Sunday, May 5, at the Dominga Bar at 8:30 p.m. An educational and hilarious stand-up show that includes humorous music about sexual health issues.
“In this current context where we are beginning to review and dismantle a large number of myths and mandates regarding our sexuality, it is necessary to review those behaviors that we have naturalized and begin to rethink enjoyment as our right. Our orgasms matter,” says the sexologist in her show, which will not only make you laugh but also provide a series of tips and suggestions to live a fuller and more pleasurable sexuality. A show to reflect on everything that happens in our meetings. A combination of Stand Up and music to say things head-on and without hesitation.
ValeRia has lived in Buenos Aires since 2013 and this is her second one-woman Stand Up. “That women can talk about sexuality in these times is revolutionary, although we have made a lot of progress with respect to comprehensive sexual education it still affects us in our lives.” We encounter a large number of myths, commands and erroneous beliefs that prevent us from enjoying ourselves.
Sexuality with humor is a show where we are encouraged to talk from the most intimate point of view. It is a cared for space in which we can open dialogue about our sexuality, our needs, our tastes and singularities. The audience shared stories, anecdotes, we reflected and we laughed to a full room! So this Sunday I hope the good energy of the public is repeated!
