The strike on Thursday the 9th has to be forceful. Grants special powers to Milei’s government; imposes a labor reform that makes us more flexible and takes away more rights; eliminates the retirement moratorium by increasing the retirement age of women; advances against energy sovereignty; allows the privatization of public companies such as Airlines and Railways, among others. The salary tax returns and they eliminate the social monotax, while giving benefits to the rich, with money laundering and economic promotions.
All this happened due to the passivity of the union leadership, which did not call for mobilization. The deputies of Union for the Homeland They limited themselves to voting against, without appealing to mobilization. Its political objective is to administer the country at the service of the IMF and big businessmen but with a little more state regulation, as we saw in the previous government. They do not want to defeat the entire Milei plan with the action of working people.
From the Left Front we have come from fighting in Congress with our deputies, but also in the streets together with neighborhood assemblies, social and union organizations. We have proposals to defeat the adjustment and these laws.

That’s why We demand from the CGT, the CTA and all the unions a general strike and mobilization when the Bases and Fiscal Law is discussed in the Senate, to take to the streets as we did in defense of public education. That April 23, with the strike of the sector’s unions, there were a million of us in the streets.
For that we need assemblies in all workplaces to debate among all how to win this fight. There is anger. But you have to put that force in motion. We are the ones who move the country.
