In the communication, the members of the five companies that are part of the armed organization explain that they met for several days to make several decisions, among which it is noted that “unanimously the assembly defines the break with the Coce central command and National Directoratethe above leads to not accepting the treatment of aggression and the current model of leadership from political exile.”
Likewise, the armed group maintains that “the Assembly reiterates sustain ourselves in the construction of territorial peace in the department of Nariño with concrete peace actions including humanitarian demining, returns and territorial transformation.”

“The Assembly orders us to remain in the process of political negotiation between the Southern Community Front and the National Government, under the policy of ‘total peace’ of the current president Gustavo Petro,” indicates the armed group.
From the Government of Nariño, Benildo Estupiñán, Secretary of Government and governor in charge, assured that this is a positive message for the region.
“We are not going to stop at the mandate that was given to Luis Alfonso Escobar on October 30, 2023, that of advancing in the construction of peace, which is to territorialize peace, which is to generate the necessary, sufficient changes that allow the best life conditions.
