Thanks to the information provided by the local community, the Sixteenth Brigade of the National Army found the whereabouts of a subject who apparently had murdered another citizen with a firearm in the middle of a fight.
According to complaints from the population, a 51-year-old man, his adult son and a third individual were chatting in a public establishment in the La Colombina de Paz neighborhood of Ariporo, when they clashed.
According to authorities, in the midst of the struggle, the father apparently used a firearm where he allegedly shot his own son. Likewise, this person is accused of causing the death of another man who had apparently previously injured him with a knife.
The Casanare Guide Group captured the 51-year-old man in the Montañas del Totumo district, from where they also provided assistance to him and his son, transporting them by ambulance to the nearest health center due to the severity of their injuries, according to report delivered by the authorities. The same was made available to the pertinent authority to continue with the process of judicialization and legalization of the capture.
