As reported from the AIC, on Sunday night a cold front will enter with rain and snowfall in all the mountain range of Cuyo, Neuquén, Río Negro and Chubut. The cold air could in turn be accompanied by white wind.
For its part, in valleys, plateaus and the Atlantic coastthe presence of cold air will continue on Sunday. Temperatures below zero will continue throughout the week.
They also announced that there will be snow in the mountain range next week. In addition, snowfall will be recorded in the central plateau of Neuquén and in the southern region of Río Negroprecipitation is expected for the Upper Valley.
Snow alert in Neuquén for this Monday
The National Meteorological Service (SMN) reported a new alert for snow in the region, for this Monday, May 20. The warning is for the province of Neuquén.
«The area will be affected by snowfall, which may be locally heavy. Values of snow accumulated between 20 and 40 cm, which can be overcome occasionally. The highest values are expected in the highest elevation areas,” the agency indicated.
He pointed out that the alert is yellow, which means that there will be “possible meteorological phenomena with damage capacity and risk of momentary interruption of daily activities.
