Luis Mariano Rojas, 42, known as ‘El Dominicano’, had lived in Valledupar for four years.

The attack recorded on Tuesday afternoon at MacDonald’s Valledupar continues to draw the attention of the police authorities whose personnel have not stopped in the investigations to locate the alleged perpetrator and establish the motives for the event.

In the security camera videos, the face of the person who allegedly attacked Luis Mariano Rojas, 42, known as ‘El Dominicano’, was recorded on Tuesday, May 21.

It would be a man between 25 and 35 years old, who was dressed in black and fled on a black and blue AX100 motorcycle, as recorded on the security cameras.

In this regard, the commander of the Valledupar Metropolitan Police, Colonel Alex Durán, indicated that the investigations continue and what progress has been made remains confidential so as not to hinder the investigators and in the coming days provide important results.

‘El Dominicano’ remains in a delicate state of health at the Laura Daniela Clinic in this city, after receiving two gunshot wounds to the chest that keep him between life and death. He could be referred to another more complex clinic due to the severity of the injuries.

‘El Dominicano’ arrived at the restaurant with a woman, aboard a high-end truck, apparently armored, and once inside the establishment the motorist entered and attacked him with shots.

In this case, the authorities are handling two hypotheses, theft since Rojas was wearing expensive gold and diamond jewelry, but they were not stolen, so an attempted hitman is not ruled out.

Between life and death is the man, who according to the authorities, was a businessman in the area.
