Cycle tourism month in Córdoba: how to use the free bicycle service

Approximately a year ago, this unprecedented initiative was launched in the city, which allows residents and tourists to access bicycles for free to get around or walk around the city.

“We started with a station. Today we have nine and one more to inaugurate. We are scheduled to have 200 more bicycles,” commented Eduardo Ramírez, president of Tamse, in dialogue with Telefe Noticias.

From the main station, located in Parque Sarmiento, they explained to the cell phone the steps to follow to pick up a bicycle. You just have to have CIDI or VeDi or, failing that, scan a QR code with your cell phone. The bicycle is delivered with a bib and helmet and can be ridden for a maximum of one and a half hours, with the option to renew. Once the time has expired, the bicycle must be returned along with the other items delivered, at any of the available stations.

Since the launch of the service, there has been great acceptance and interest in this new method of transportation. It is an excellent alternative that allows you to exercise, take care of the environment and take a walk outdoors for a while.

The service is available Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
