The Bretón Theater will host for the first time the final phase of the Hormigón-Torrado professional dance training scholarship, in which seven candidates will take part. The event will take place on Sunday, June 16 (at 6:00 p.m.) and the proceeds (with tickets at 10 euros) will go to the training scholarship itself.

The Hormigón-Torrado scholarship is triennial and its total amount amounts to 12,000 euros spread over three courses, at a rate of 4,000 per school year, and which will be used exclusively to finance the accommodation and living expenses of the student selected by the jury.

The selected student will be able to continue their training at the Center de Dansa de Catalunya under the direction of Roser Muñoz and Joan Boix, to complete the last three years in the Professional Training Course in Classical Dance.

To have access to this scholarship you must be of Spanish nationality and be between 13 and 16 years old within the school period in which the call is made. In addition, they must be studying dance, at the time of the request, and with excellent grades.

To win the scholarship, students must pass two qualifying rounds. The first, which has just concluded, involved the participation of twelve young people from Madrid, Extremadura, Aragón, Navarra, Valencia, the Basque Country and Catalonia, and was based on the documentation and images received by postal mail. Of them, seven students have been selected, who are the ones who have moved on to the second and final phase.
