The two victims of the violent incident were identified as Andrés Felipe Nieto Rojas (26 years old) and Brayan Steven Escobar Bravo, according to what was reported by the commander of the Putumayo Police Department, Colonel Wilson Barrios, who added that the two men and the third injured person would have arrived from Armenia to participate in the sporting event.
“This is a vehicle that was traveling from the municipality of Puerto Asís and He was intercepted by at least two motorcycles, which were following him and was intercepted arriving in Mocoa.“Two people died due to the hitman incident, the vehicle is sidestepped by these people on motorcycles and that is where the incident occurs,” said Colonel Barrios, at the height of the bridge located in the Caliyaco village.
