More than two thousand procedures were started online for the driver’s license in the last 15 days, a new modality that the Municipality launched and which was well received by the neighbors.

More than two thousand procedures were started online for the driver’s license in the last 15 days, a new modality that the Municipality launched and which was well received by the neighbors.

Precisely, two weeks ago the process was launched online, through which drivers no longer have to attend to present their papers but can upload them to the license website: https://municipalidadsalta.gob.ar/ procedures/driver-license/ and they only have to attend the medical examination and the theoretical-practical exam in person, if it is the first time they apply for a license.

Digitizing part of the procedure speeds up the process and produces significant material savings per month.

With the new methodology, it can be processed on the web 24 hours a day on any day of the week.

If the user starts the online renewal process, it will only take 30 minutes to obtain their license.

“We are taking care of the neighbors’ time. We are going to continue applying common sense to reduce bureaucracy and increase the speed of services,” said Matías Assennato, Secretary of Traffic and Road Safety.

It must be taken into account that if the papers are not loaded optimally, the procedure may be rejected, but with the necessary instructions so that it can be carried out again correctly.

In addition to saving time, this generates a significant decrease in the use of paper, avoiding contamination.
