Within the framework of World Environment Daythis Wednesday a collaboration agreement was signed between the Ministry of Production, Natural Resources, Forestry, Land and Environment of Santiago del Estero and the Institute of Social Work for Provincial Employees (Iosep).
The president of Iosep, Raúl Ayuch, participated in this event, and representing the Ministry of Production was the undersecretary of the Environment of the province, Carlos Salmoiraghi; in addition to the general manager of Iosep, Graciela Muratore de Corona and the director of Environmental Control and Supervision of the Undersecretariat of the Environment, Isabel Brandán, along with professionals from different areas and special guests.
On this occasion, the first meeting of the training sessions contemplated in the agreement also began, which will be held for 4 consecutive Wednesdays through interactive face-to-face workshops to promote sustainable solutions, encourage practices and behaviors that contribute to maintaining an improvement in the environment. within an urban context through the implementation of solid waste management practices, efficient use of water and promotion of the circular economy and raising awareness of climate change.
In this context, Salmoiraghi called for reflection and urged citizens to see caring for the environment on a daily basis as “fundamental.”
In turn, Ayuch highlighted the commitment, articulation and integration between Iosep and the Ministry of Health; He also highlighted how valuable this training cycle in human value is, in order to “allocate the resources, necessary tools that the entity has, although we know that we must continue working, our goal is to empower ourselves and coordinate among the staff”.
