Second Edition Green Fund for Environmental Sustainability

This initiative aims promote, finance and enhance research projects applied and linkage, aimed at producing innovative solutions on environmental issues in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Mendoza, with special emphasis on the City of Mendoza and its foothills, which require scientific knowledge or technological development, with an impact on the territory.

Projects must be submitted by August 10. They will then be evaluated by a prominent jurytaking into account that the six best proposals will obtain financing up to two million pesos each one to be able to carry them out, taking into account that the money available is 12 million pesos.

The works to be presented must be related to one of the following thematic areas:

  • Water efficiency in the improvement of public trees and green spaces.
  • Energy efficiency, energy savings.
  • Urban strategies and proposals for sustainable densification.
  • Territorial planning and new urban approaches.
  • Smart cities.
  • Nature-based solutions (Green, gray and blue infrastructure, landscape connectivity, etc.).
