ATEPSA has between 1000 and 1200 members spread across the 54 airports in operation in the country, covering both air traffic controllers and other workers in the technical area. Unlike other aeronautical unions that are linked to Aerolíneas Argentinas, ATEPSA affiliates depend on the state company Argentine Air Navigation Company (EANA)created during the administration of Mauricio Macri and currently directed by Agustín Rodríguez Grellet.

“This information is important if you had a trip scheduled for June, especially because of the two long weekends“explained the journalist Sofia Terrile in the air of TN. “The strike began this Sunday at 8 p.m. and at first it only affected international flights, but then they decided that it would also impact local flights. In the country’s 54 airports, that strike announced the state of chaos,” he added.
