At the headquarters of the Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME), the governor of the province of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, and the Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports of the Nation, Daniel Scioli, inaugurated the Entre Ríos winter tourist season. “Tourism spills over into many other sectors of the internal economy. Post-pandemic, various destinations of our beautiful Argentina were rediscovered,” said the president of CAME, Alfredo González, during the opening.

Entre Ríos’ “Winter 2024” proposal includes thermal destinations, local gastronomy and wine tourism. “There are about 10 million people who live within 400 kilometers of our province. Proximity, quality of its people, safety, culture and history are the main advantages that we can offer tourists,” said Frigerio.

For his part, Scioli highlighted that “tourism can provide an effective response to the main problems facing our country. That is why from the Secretariat we promote the open skies policy, with greater frequency of domestic and regional flights, and we include the sector in the Simple Quota program.”

“Entre Ríos is a destination with traditional roots and national and local history. Furthermore, it occupies an important space in the proposals for circuits and routes that will be transmitted through its own protagonists,” explained the general secretary of CAME, Ricardo Diab.

Also participating in the event were the Secretary of Tourism of Entre Ríos, Jorge Satto; the general coordinator of the Entre Ríos Tourism Secretariat, Sebastián Bel; the head of the Tourism Entity of the City of Buenos Aires and the Federal Tourism Council, Valentín Díaz Gilligan; the Secretary of Tourism of CAME, Gregorio Werchow; the president of the Economic Federation of Entre Ríos (FEDER), Silvio Farach; the head of the Entre Ríos Chamber of Tourism, Juan Acedo; the president of FEHGRA, Fernando Desbots; and the head of Faevyt, Andrés Deyas, among others.
