Nemesio González Fernández, director of the aforementioned group, explained that the marketing of products in the international market that enables the entry of foreign currency into the country to develop the Cuban economy is also a priority.

During the current year, he said, they are fulfilling their plans positively, particularly those that satisfy the demands of Agriculture with the Gavac vaccines against the cattle tick and Porvac for the control of classical swine fever.

Likewise, he highlighted the Hebernem bioproduct for the control of nematodes and the stimulation of plant growth, in addition to another recently included product against swine cholera.

It meant that many of the specific projects that the CIGB develops today have the participation of students who join from the first year of their university career, who write their undergraduate theses on related topics and receive a job placement at that scientific institution.

Such an alliance, he commented, is the result of the vocational training and professional orientation strategy that the CIGB extends from the Camagüey territory to the different educational establishments to attract young talents who aspire to become future men of science.

Likewise, he noted that they maintain work agreements with the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz also for the development at this time of a broader spectrum vaccine for the control of ectoparasites in pets and animals in general, as well as other projects that will benefit the economic area with the application of artificial intelligence.
