The Seremi of Transport and Telecommunications of Los Lagos, Pablo Joostexplained that “this project considers the construction of a loading center on municipal land and that, of course, it is for the direct benefit of the people who live in the city of Puerto Varas and that is also in line with what we as ministry we are promoting in the country, which is advance sustainable public transportation systems at the national level“.

The project aims at a fleet that will circulate through the urban area of ​​the commune, passing through the main sectors that demand public transportation, such as commerce, health services and other points of interest in the city. The routes will connect the Alto Esperanza sector with Mirador, crossing the center and residential areas, with operation from 06:00 to 23:00 on weekdays.
