The Attorney General’s Office of the State of San Luis Potosí (FGESLP), through litigators from the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Femicides, managed to obtain an order of connection to proceedings and justified preventive detention against Saúl “N”, who was charged with the crime of feminicide and illicit burial of a woman in Cerritos.
After various investigations led by a tax agent, it was established that this criminal act would have occurred on October 4, 2023, within a home in the San Antonio neighborhood of said municipality.
During the continuation of the initial hearing and after reviewing the investigation records presented by the Prosecutor’s Office, the Judge determined this resolution and informed the accused about the precautionary measure of remaining in prison justified, due to the existence of sufficient elements to continue with a process. criminal against him.
In addition to this result, the judging authority established a period of 4 months to carry out the complementary investigation, in which both the Prosecutor’s Office and the defense will have the opportunity to provide new evidence to the case.
