According to information provided by sources in the area, the teacher was leaving an activity in the Sinaí district, and while he was traveling to the municipal seat, he was approached by heavily armed men, who shot him until he ended his life.
The teacher was apparently traveling in the company of his wife, who emerged unharmed from this unfortunate event.
The supposed checkpoint apparently belonging to the FARC Dissidents “Carlos Patiño” had been located in the sector known as Cruce de las Perlas, just 15 minutes from the town center.
At this time, the teacher’s body is in the morgue of the Argelia hospital, waiting for it to be delivered to his relatives, who will give him a Christian burial in the municipality of Sucre.
