In all the municipalities of Sancti Spiritus, the Houses of Culture will become scenarios for multiple proposals

With just a few hours left until the arrival of July, the Culture House system is putting its finishing touches to host the proposals for the summer courses that during the two months of the summer stage will bring different age groups closer to different artistic manifestations.
That is why, for example, in the Osvaldo Mursulí, the large house with a wide portal in front of the Serafín Sánchez Valdivia park, in the city of Yayabo, 175 workshops have been planned for July and 166 in August.
“In the music specialty we will have proposals related to piano, rumba, guitar, theory and music theory, while in visual arts they will discover how to better make drawing and paper mache strokes,” explained Neuralys Merencio Navarro, programmer at the institution.
Likewise, literary workshops have been planned, divided into poetry and short stories; There will also be spaces for dance, especially dedicated to popular dances.
“The workshops will be taught starting this July 1st from Monday to Saturday. Those interested can register at the House of Culture itself and there is no age limit. They are designed for all age groups. At the end of the summer, as usually happens, there will be a great activity to show the results of the same.”
Similar proposals have been scheduled in the rest of the Houses of Culture in the province, since in other summers the workshops have been in high demand because they merge learning with recreation.
“Our communities will also experience the proposals of our institutions,” acknowledges Merencio Navarro. We will strengthen the most vulnerable areas and those that are undergoing transformation. In addition, we will reinforce the work with some programs such as Educate your Child. The popular councils will also experience their summer festivals, where together with other sectors we will ensure that public spaces break their routines.”
The Culture House system joins the activities that will turn July 21 and 26 into special days throughout the province.
“During the first, the actions will be aimed primarily at children and adolescents. While, in the second, after the national event for the 71st anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, the entire town will be called to enjoy.”
Each of the proposals of the Sancti Spíritus Culture Houses system, both inside its headquarters and in other spaces, will be led by art instructors, programmers and members of the José Martí Brigade of Art Instructors.
