Rain in the Metropolitan Region: what time will the precipitation begin in Santiago

This Saturday there will arrive a new front system to the Metropolitan Regionafter the cyclonic event that occurred in the southern part of Chile during the week.

What time will it start to rain in Santiago?

Meteorologist Jaime Leyton, in Meganoticias, confirmed that Santiago will experience rainfall starting at 9 p.m. this Saturday, June 8. “The rain will arrive in Santiago today. At around 9 p.m. it will precipitate throughout the capital due to this frontal system,” he noted.

The forecast for Sunday indicates Minimum temperatures of 8°C and maximum temperatures of 14°C, with rain accompanied by winds that will range between 25 and 40 km/h during the early morning and morning hours. In the afternoon and evening of Sunday, precipitation will decrease to isolated showers.

Leyton also warned of a more powerful frontal system expected next week. “The rains will be abnormal (…) By this I mean that they will be extremely intense in the capital. This will be between Thursday and Friday and we are talking about between 80 and 90 millimeters could fall,” explained the meteorologist.
